Winter in the Northwest.....

Boy oh boy....have we ever been hit with snow. My kids are loving it, my back is tired of shoveling it! I will say.... it was fun at first, then when we were stranded and couldn't get out it was losing its appeal. Our church even cancelled services Sunday and Wednesday. I miss the sweet fellowship with my church family. I took lots of pictures, so sit back and enjoy our snow.

This is how I have been feeling lately about my twin brothers passing...this picture of the kids describes it perfectly. I actually took this picture on my cell phone and sent it to Ken when he was on a Business trip in November. I was going through my cell phone pictures and thought "this is how we all feel about Lorin". I am having a hard time shaking the sadness I feel. Just kind of going through the motions of life.... feeling very empty. I am feasting on Gods word (as my pastor would say) to get me through this. Thank You everyone for your sweet posts and condolences. I love you ALL....Because HE live I can face tomorrow!!!

His fight is over.....

My twin brother Lorin passed into Glory, he is in the arms of our Savior the Lord Jesus Christ. He left us yesterday at 6:45 pm. It was our 44th birthday. I praise God I got to spend one more Birthday with him. Thank You to all those who have followed Lorin's long journey. I have found comfort in all your comments and emails. Life is short friends. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be Saved. Jesus paid the final price for our sins, that final price was HIS death on the cross. That death was HIS sacrifice for OUR sins, HE new no sin but became sin for us so that we could have Eternal Life. HE died, was buried and rose again for US. If you don't know where you will spend Eternity, I will be glad to show you how you can know for sure.

Scripture Sign....

Just thought I would share the scripture sign we have in our front yard. We have had several comments about it. All good!!! I just love all the fall leaves that fell around it. Beautiful!!!!

Computer Problems....

Hey Everyone......Sorry for my absence....I have a sick Laptop...My husband is going to fix it over the weekend. Thank You to all those who have emailed me wanting to know how my brother is. He's not doing well...he is failing fast. He can barely swallow even water, and mostly sleeps all day. he will wake up but can's communicate. It is just a matter of time before he is in Glory with our Savior Jesus. (((Hugs)))

Pray for our Family....

If you are a follower of my blog can I ask you to pray for our family. So much is going on and I am feeling so overwhelmed. For those of you that don't know, my twin brother Lorin is literally dying of Brain cancer before our eyes. He is so young to be dying of this dreadful cancer. It's so very hard to see him so confused and getting more confused daily. My husband has to be out of town allot for the next few weeks and I miss him dearly. He's always there for me to cry on his shoulder. I've had a sick 2 yr old and I'm not finding allot of Joy in homeschooling. I feel like my house is falling apart. If you are a praying person could you lift up our family in prayer, especially my sweet brother Lorin.

Because HE lives I can face tomorrow!!!!

I married the Love of my life....Come share with me some pictures of the most Godly man I know. We don't get to spend this day together, he is on his way to a business trip. I did get to enjoy part of the day with him. Now I am left with five teary eyed kids, who hated to say good bye to their Daddy. You know he is loved by the way my kids are mourning his absence already, and he's only been gone a hour. So this post is dedicated to you Honey....Thank you for always being there for the kids and I. You are an Amazing man....I look forward to many more years. God has truly Blessed us. I must also add.... it takes a special man to be married to a woman with my sense of HUMOR!!!!
