Pray for our Family....

If you are a follower of my blog can I ask you to pray for our family. So much is going on and I am feeling so overwhelmed. For those of you that don't know, my twin brother Lorin is literally dying of Brain cancer before our eyes. He is so young to be dying of this dreadful cancer. It's so very hard to see him so confused and getting more confused daily. My husband has to be out of town allot for the next few weeks and I miss him dearly. He's always there for me to cry on his shoulder. I've had a sick 2 yr old and I'm not finding allot of Joy in homeschooling. I feel like my house is falling apart. If you are a praying person could you lift up our family in prayer, especially my sweet brother Lorin.

Because HE lives I can face tomorrow!!!!

I married the Love of my life....Come share with me some pictures of the most Godly man I know. We don't get to spend this day together, he is on his way to a business trip. I did get to enjoy part of the day with him. Now I am left with five teary eyed kids, who hated to say good bye to their Daddy. You know he is loved by the way my kids are mourning his absence already, and he's only been gone a hour. So this post is dedicated to you Honey....Thank you for always being there for the kids and I. You are an Amazing man....I look forward to many more years. God has truly Blessed us. I must also add.... it takes a special man to be married to a woman with my sense of HUMOR!!!!

A Day at the Pumkin Patch

Fall is in the Air

Oh how I love this time of year....you can just feel Fall. The kids and I went to a pumpkin patch with my nephews wife Kristi. We had the time of our lives......We were there 4 hours. My kids had a Blast!!!! They want to go back....These are the pumpkins we picked...I have a HUGE square kitchen table, so we decided to put them ALL there to Enjoy!!! If you look closely at the picture you can see where Nehemiah chewed on the table when he was teething. At first I was NO!!!! not our table. Now I'm loving looking at the memory my Sweet Boy created. We light lots of candles this time of year, my son Christian came to me the other day and said "Mommy I love it when you light candles, it makes the house feel so cozy".....Memories...it's about creating memories!!!

Tehachapi Windmills

Recently our family took a little Vacation. We took a road trip to Nevada, we have family in Henderson and Las Vegas. It worked out perfectly because Ken had a conference for work there too, so his work put us up in a really cool resort (with no casino)....We saw so many Wonderful sites on the way . One of my favorites was the Tehachapi Windmills in the Mojave Desert. Just being there brought back so many memories of the High Desert. My parent use to have land in the High Desert and I always loved it there. Anyway.....I just wanted to share with you one of the beauties of the High Desert. I tell you I could live there....I loved all the Sunny dry weather.
