If you are a follower of my blog can I ask you to pray for our family. So much is going on and I am feeling so overwhelmed. For those of you that don't know, my twin brother Lorin is literally dying of Brain cancer before our eyes. He is so young to be dying of this dreadful cancer. It's so very hard to see him so confused and getting more confused daily. My husband has to be out of town allot for the next few weeks and I miss him dearly. He's always there for me to cry on his shoulder. I've had a sick 2 yr old and I'm not finding allot of Joy in homeschooling. I feel like my house is falling apart. If you are a praying person could you lift up our family in prayer, especially my sweet brother Lorin.
Because HE lives I can face tomorrow!!!!

yeppie....I am in there with you..I left and just felt so sad yesterday evening. It seems like our family has changed so fast...and I know Life is about CHANGE but is sure is not easy...

I will definately pray... I know the trying times as far as husband being away, Mark was away a week ago, leaves tomorrow for 4 days and then again next week back to WA for 3 days... Caleb hit it on the head the other day and said, Mommy, we just aren't a family when Daddy is gone... it broke my heart... but I am thankful to have a husband that works so hard! We love and miss you all! I will keep praying!

Praying for you, your family and especially for Lorin. Our family went through a similar situation nearly ten years ago. I was the main caregiver of my terminally ill mother-in-love (who was like a mother to me), was h'schooling my two young children and a firefighter husband working 24 and 48 hour shifts. I won't pretend it wasn't hard--it was the hardest thing I've ever gone through--emotionally, physically and spiritually. But this I know: Jesus was near to me (and our family) through it all. Nearer than I could have ever known not having gone through such a heart-wrenching experience. I grew to know my Savior in such a precious way and learned that His grace *is* truly sufficient. Always. (2 Corinthians 12:8-10)
